MakeFest at the Manchester Museum of Science and Industry.
19th. & 20th. August.
6 Members were able to fill 14 tables with a large selection of models, many
of which could be operated by the visitors. Numerous visitors showed lots of interest.
Two Plastic Meccano Meccanographs were in almost continuous use. Some of the models

Tern Hill Vintage Machinery Trust, Annual Show. 12th. & 13th. August.
This was held in the beautiful Chetwld Deer Park near Newport in Shropshire. Two members exhibited in a large gazebo. Models managed to run all day using a jump starter to provide electricity. A lot of interest was shown.
Toys for Boys in Old Christ Church, Waterloo, 12th. & 13th. August.
Four members exhibited at this event, filling 8 tables. Some photographs by Les. Nightingale Jr. appear below. Not much information about the models is available.
